Hi

Presumably you are using the same audio source, input source, audio card or USB audio converter for each of the audio files imported.

Change any of these and maybe the recommendations will change, other wise they will continue to be the same because the audio chain is consistent.

Thanks John.

When one adjusts the DeHisser or DeClicker to let's say MAX, this should affect the Cleaning agent's reccomendations. It does not. When using a totally different audio file the recommendations are different initially and they should be becuase it is a diffrent audio file, but after applying changes, still no different recommendations. I have tried many changes to see if it affects the reccomendations, nothing seems it affect it.

I am convinced that this cleaning agent is not working and I need to try another software.

Thanks.

Hi

. . . . but after applying changes, still no different recommendations. . . . .

Once you have applied the change once then the audio will have been cleaned up as best as is possible - the settings should then be consistent each time you try to apply the again.

. . . . have tried many changes to see if it affects the reccomendations, nothing seems it affect it. . . .

What changes have you tried?

John

I basically have a single  old audio recording with hum, hiss and clicks and would like to elimimate as much as I can. It is of one person speaking..... I am trialing the MAGIC Audio Cleaning Lab to determine if it is the one I should select to edit other audio files.... Because it appears that the recommendations do not change no matter how I adjust the settings, I may have to decide on a different software other than MAGIX. Any suggestions on this type of audio editing woul dbe appreciated. I have tried Audacity...

Thanks..
