audio will not work on my movie

I have a JVC Everio video camera a just got. I download each file from there onto Windows Media Player, then save as a movie file. So then I go onto Magix program and import those files. No audio shows up. I can't hear ANYTHING. And Ive tried to load on different videos i have already had on my computer, and the audio DOES work. I am so confused. HELP!

Perhaps you are lacking an audio codec. OnInternet you'll find GSPOT, a program that tells which codecs are installed on your PC, and which codecs you need for that spesific filetype. Perhaps you need to install AC3Filter, an audio codec. Both programs are free. Try this !
