Audio video sync

PAWOLF wrote on 3/22/2012, 2:26 PM

I know this has been addressed before, but I am unable to find a solution to the audio sync issue I am having with Magix MEP 17+ Pro. Using DV files and export to DVD & MPG4 results in bad audio sync issues by the end of the 29 minute video. When I render to DV AVI issue is not as pronounced but not perfect.,.the video and audio seem to be in sync when I play on the timeline it is only when I render to a final file. I have been testing ALL morning...the mp4 and DV-avi files lose sync about 15 20 minute in and the mpg2 file loses sync about 10 minutes in.

Hi

Select all the video objects on the timeline, right click and select Create(new) frame table to see if this improves the syncing, save the project and export again.

Hey John,

I do not see the option Create(new) frame table, is that for MPEG videos only? I am using DV as source material. I have gotten a good rendering after updating MEP 17, I thought it had already done the update but it had not.

Thanks,

Peter

Hi Peter

AFAIK it appears for all video clips on the timeline.  You do have to ensure that you right click the video portion of a clip as shown in this image
