is there no way to have to speak to a technician. Why would I but this product without this information.

This is a users forum. There is no direct phone line to a Magic tech person.
Perhaps your fellow Sound Forge users can help on this forum if it is a technical issue.
If it involves specific registration or activation serial numbers, email Magix customer service: infoservice@magix.net or sales@magix.
Alternately, you may request a Magix Tech Support ticket.
