@ole1 Please check if your sound card audio driver is selected in the program settings under the tab "Audio/MIDI" and that AUDIO REC is enabled in the track header you want to record. Does it work?

The soundcard is detected by Magix. You use Magix ASIO driver for audio playback and monitoring. It's all set but there's no sound from the mic.It also work in windows. It works everywhere except in Magix!
Check in the Windows Settings, Privacy, Microphone that the option (scroll down to see it) Allow desktop apps to access your microphone is turned on.

Hi
I figured it out.It was simply a matter of choosing generic low latency driver instead of Magix's own driver. Not to mention Creative's driver which make Magix crash!
@ole1 It should probably work fine with the Magix Low Latency driver. You need to click on the "Advanced..." button after selecting the driver and activate your Microphone as an input in the advanced driver settings.
