Using Music Maker 2020 (v 28.0.2.47) on my desktop (Windows 10, 3.2 ghz, 8 gb RAM, ASIO4ALL v2, Roland Digital Piano midi input...)
I'm trying to open a project and loading is interrupted with the following message:
The following project cannot be loaded:
[project name]
Reason: The Audio-paths to the media file are inconsistent:
MIDI REC (deviation: 4560 samples)
Click on "Continue" to adjust the movie's paths to the media file. Make sure that the movie is changed by this process. Click "Cancel" to remove the inconsistent paths.
If I click Continue (it pops up with the same message for each midi object I recorded last session), the resulting midi objects seem... okay, I think? At first it looked like they were out of time (like my 3/4 recording overlaid with 4/4 time blocks) but then I zoomed in and out and it seemed to look correct. However, on closer inspection the graphical midi objects are out of sync with playback.
I'm confused. First of all, I have no idea what the popup message is saying, and it's not a "movie," it's just an audio thing. Not sure what to make of it. Any ideas?
