Audio & Music Cleaning Lab Premium - CPU Hungry

Why is Audio & Music Lab Premium so CPU hungry?  It eats up a lot of CPU just having the program on without any files in the program.   No audio file no effects, notheing is running, the only thing is just having the program on and the CPU goes up.   Why does it do this?

I have two examples of CPU, one with the program on and one with the program off, plus the system that i am running.

I think the answer is that the program is ridiculously large. I have a similar problem - the program is so slow I am going back to an earlier version and will reinstall this version when i get a bigger PC

I just noticed, the new update (patch), now it seems to be working more smoothly.... Plus it did not crash when working on my latest project.... I hope i have no more problems....
