I have imported a mp3 file and there are "clicks" or distortions to the audio. I have played it on 2 other playback programs and it sounds fine. I cant figure how to prevent or clean without making a bigger problem in the audio.
Unfortunately, not all mp3s are created equal! What is its sample rate and bit depth? Essentially, the problem is that MEP needs to convert your file to wav "on the fly" and I suspect it is struggling.
Do you have the facility to convert the mp3 to wav? If so, convert it to 48kHz, 16 bit and import that file to your timeline. Does that help?
