Hi cowboy43,

open the program and press the R key on your keyboard. You should now see audio input, and in the next window you should be able to change the volume. You might need to proceed to Windows Mixer and further adjust the input volume there.

If you really don't see a lot when you get there, remember that ACL only uses what your soundcard, or in your case soundchipset offers. Make sure that you driver for the Realtek HD is uptodate.

Just seen the question. Another solution could be :-

Open control panel>realtech HD Audio manager, there is a button called ear protection.  If this button is clicked it will limit the maximum volume that can be obtained.  De-click it & then adjust the volume slider to maximum
