On the preamp which is the + terminal for power supply centre pin or outer sleeve

AFAIK ACL does not come with a preamp only a USB converter which does not a power socket.

Most equipment which requires a power pack has a diagram on the back or bottom which shows you whether the socket is center positive or negative such as this

You would also need to make sure you have the correct plug for the socket as there are many different sizes.
