Audio and Video Off Track After Export

aaron-l52 wrote on 4/18/2016, 10:35 AM

I've been using the Magix movie Edit Pro 2016 to edit videos and then post on youtube, the format being MPEG4.  I've editted several videos without any problems whatsoever, and then just this past saturday, one of my videos I finished exporting ended up having it's audio and video off track.  I know it has to be an export problem, because before I turn it into MPEG4 all the audio and video is set up and aligned as it should be.  After the export, the audio comes up a lot earlier than it should, and the video plays the "catch up" game without succeeding.

Operating System = Windows 10

GPU = AMD Radeon R7 370, 4GB GDDR5, 256 bits

Software = Magix Movie Edit Pro 2016 Plus

Any suggestions on what could be wrong here?  Do you need more info?  Please let me know so I can get this thing fixed.  Thank you, guys!

Hi

Are you referring to playback of the exported file in for example Windows Media Player or playback of the timeline in the MEP after exporting?

Hey!  Thanks for the quick reply!!!

No, playback in the timeline is not a problem.  I'm talking about everything else, whether it's played by windows media player, uploaded to youtube and then played from there. or run on the "Movies & TV" thing that my exported files open with, it always has the issue the audio and video being off track with one another once exported.

Hi

Is your MEP 2016 patched up to date?  You should be on version 15.0.0.90.

Did the graphics card drivers update just before the change occurred.

Yes sir, my version is the current one.  And yes, its a new graphics card i installed about a full week before this started happening.  The drivers did get updated.  Are you thinking I might have to update them again?

Graphics card did need an update.  I went ahead and update it.  the problem still occurs though even after updating the drivers and restarting computer. but it is only happening with the MPEG4 export.  when I export it to AVI the video comes out just fine...problem is it takes 3600 minutes to upload to youtube as an AVI video/file lol dont want to do that
