Hi

Do you have any other effects, collages or text etc also using track 4?

Does it do this for a new project?

if so these may be causing the problem - always keep extra audio on a seperate track - I usually use the track(s) below the lowest video clip, title or image so here is no mixing of object types in the same track as the audio.

Also check your Mixer setting (M key)  for track 4 it may be set lower than the others.

John

The audio clips are on tracks of their own...no video, titles or anything. Pressing the 'M' key shows nothings been altered there. I opened up a new project and put the same audio clip on the timeline there and everything's OK.....all tracks OK.

I've been using Magix for years now (starting with Magix 11, then 14, 15 and now MX-PRO) ), and I've never known this to occur before....it's a bit baffling to say the least.
