Anyone get Revalver 4 to work in Acid Pro 8.0? How is it done?

I have been trying to figure out how to get Revalver 4 to work in my new copy of Acid Pro 8. Keep in mind I have been out of the game since Acid Pro 3.0 so I am a little back dated one the new features of the program and out of touch with a lot of the new "tech".

Any help would be appreciated,

Robert

It works fine here (Windows 10 Home 64 bit/Acid Pro 8 64bit/ReValver 4 VST2/64bit). I didn't have to do anything special for it to scan or work.

Is there a way to scan for the Revalver 4 in Acid or do you have to manually find it? How would you go about doing that when you are wanting to record a guitar track using it?

I am trying to get 2 fairly different guitar sounds on my tracks for my next album. I am using my Line 6 Pod Pro Rack for one guitar sound thru a Scarlette 18i20 and it is working fine but when I am trying to use Revalver 4 it does not see the guitar signal when in record mode.

Thanks in advance for your help and time,

@robert-w

Just a thought; is your version of Revalver 4 64 bit? Acid 7 is 32 bit and so can use 32 bit VSTs; Acid 8 is 64 bit only, unless you also install the 32 bit version I think.

OTOH, if you have a 32 bit OS you will only have the 32 bit version of Acid 8 installed; in which case you will need the 32 bit version of Revalver 4, assuming there is one.
