Any ideas why my voice recording slows down every time I import a style from the soundpool?

EVery time i import any style from my soundpool into my arrangement - my voice recording automatically sloooooooows down! I dont have a problem when I import a music file just styles from the soundpool! Anyone experienced this and know how to rectify the problem? Thanks
