Hi,

I haven't experienced most of your problems, but I will test with more soundpools and instruments recordings and a voice recording or two.

Is there any particular point at which problems start? By this I mean a certain number of tracks, loops, instruments, audio tracks before problems start or after adding effects. Or does this happen with even a small project?

As for sound driver stops, I have been having problems. When set to the M-Audio M-Track driver and monitoring through headphones connected to the M-Track interface, the sound shuts down regularly and I have to go back to settings, change the driver, then change back to the M-Track to get the sound for a while. Is this one of the problems that you are experiencing?

I use the same setup in other Magix programs to record audio and I don't have the same problem. It seems to be only in MMM2015PREMIUM. I will test Samplitude Music Studio 2015 to see if it gives me similar problems.

Monitoring with speakers or headphones does not give me any problems.

I have just done a couple of sessions using MMM2015PREMIUM to dub video. It goes from Movie Edit Pro to MMM, I add instruments with midi, loops, sound effects, timestretching, reverb and other effects. No crashes or problems except with the M-Track monitoring. My workaround is to switch back to Asio4all when I don't need the M-Track for audio recording.

yes usely happends after about 20  or so sounds are in play,i get lag or something  like lag and genuly hjave to save and restart the program.

the loss of soundpools is usealy random sometime s i load them in with add styles and they stay for a few restarts but then randomly they just disapear and i have to re add them again.ive put the save down to 1 min saves to try combat it but to no avail;.

also im not sure if im being stupid or not but i think older versions of magix mm had an  option to ust more memmory but im just  not sure if it did?

thanks for the reply

Which driver are you using?

Soundpools - you say you are using add styles? Why? Add styles is to add soundpools to the database, not to add them to the timeline. Once they are in the database, they all show up at the bottom of the screen. Then you drag a loop to the timeline. Please explain.

If your soundpools are not on your hard disk, then Music Maker will have a hard time finding them. Where are they located?

Hi

. . . . with soundpools and vita synths disapering, random crashes and sound drivers stops working ths been very difficault to use this program effectivly . . . .

The problems you are having sound like Windows is reverting back to earlier restore points.

Rolling back restore points returns your system files and settings to an earlier point in time without affecting personal files. Restore points are usually created automatically every week, when a rollback has been made due to corrupt or missing current restore point and before significant system events, such as the installation of a program or device driver.

If this is happening then it could indicate there is a pending failure with either the OS drive (SSD?) or RAM.

I would suggest you run some diagnostics on the drives using the manufacturers diagnostic software and download one of the free memory checkers, eg MemTest, for the RAM.
