How does one get rid of this pesky intrusion at the bottom right of one's screen. Clicking on the "X" only temporarily removes it as it comes back with a new page.

I agree it is a bit of a nuisance, however, AFAICS, it cannot be turned off - it would be better if it stayed off for the session once dismissed instead of re-appearing as soon as you load another page.
I am seeing this appearing on a lot of websites - it appears to be the latest trend in site design.

I have to confess to never having seen this little so-and-so!
I do have AdGuard Ad Blocker active on my computer. Perhaps that blocks it?

Hi
It is possible to block it using ABP's Block element function, however the function works on a page by page basis.
I have blocked it on the home page for each section of the forum.
