Analog Modeling Suite package for Mac OS can't be opened

Recently Musicians Friend offered a "Stupid Deal of the Hour" for the Xchange Recording Software Collection. Included in the collection is the Magix Analog Modeling Suite. I registered with Magix. I know show ownership of the Analog Modeling Suite. Magix provided 3 download links. One is for Windows, one is for Mac, and one is for the manual. The manual download is in the German language with no option for English. The Mac link downloads an installation packag: analogue_modelling_suite_plus_int.pkg. Each attempt to download and install it generates the following error message: "analogue_modelling_suite_plus_int.pkg can't be opened. You should move it to the trash."

I cannot believe that Magix doesn't have a simple, reasonable way to contact support about a product. I hope someone from Magix will respond and provide a solution. I read one other recent forum post about this issue. I am confident I am not alone.

You recently posted the same question in this thread, where another user has also posted the official reply from Magix Support.

Please continue any further discussion there; there is absolutely no point in creating duplicate or repeat posts asking the same thing. All that will happen is that a moderator will close all but one of the threads, which is what has happened here!
