All of my third party vsts disappeared

AqauNotAqua wrote on 2/5/2021, 1:12 PM

Every single one of my third party vsts except for one are no longer where they'd normally be.

This would usually be an easy fix (I just restart the program) but that didn't work this time. All the vst file paths are there and the vsts are where they should be (Referring to those files) but it's just not finding them.

I have rescanned multiple times, and it still can't find them. The only thing I have yet to do is re-install the program. Also I don't believe this is the cause of an update because I updated to the latest version and every thing was working fine, and it could actually be my fault because I task managed the program in the middle of searching for vsts, after that it broke.

Hi,

Please always indicate the program and version that you are using or add it to your signature.

I see from your other post that you are using 2021, thus the 64bit version. Unless you have paid for 2021 Plus or Premium or purchased the 32 bit bridge, your 32 bit VSTs will not work in MMM2021. You have to use 64 bit VSTs and these will be under:

C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins

And you'll have to scan this folder.

I rushed the post because I had to go so I do apologize. I use the latest version of Music Maker Premium and I have the 32 bit bridge and vst support features.

Hi

. . . . Every single one of my third party vsts except for one are no longer where they'd normally be . . . .

Are they Effects or Instruments?

. . . . I have the 32 bit bridge and vst support features . . . .

Are the VST-Bridge and VST Support features showing as Acquired in the Store?

It's all of my vsts, and the vst features are showing as acquired.

However as I asked previously what type of VST are they Instruments, Effects or a mix of both?
