After Windows udate, sound device not listed in system setting/audio

Samplitude Pro X3 V 14.6.0.535(DC2)

After the latest forced Windows 10 update the problem I had with the last Windows update came back. That is playback only runs for 2 seconds. Last time I just had to change the audio play back device and then put it back to fix the issue. This time Samplitude popped up a message about audio device does not exist, modify setup?

I to it no, it did it any way.

Now my audio playback device on the mother board is no longer listed. Reinstalling the driver did not fix it. Now all I see is Magic 1,2 Magic 3,4 Magic 5,6 and Magic 7,8. I am not sure what these are. Seems like the new update is having a disagreement with Samplitude.

@Michael-Valdez Which audio driver is selected in the Samplitude system settings?

WDM

The problem has changed.

Audio devices now show :

Speakers (Realtek High Definiti)

(Realtek High Definiti) (3+4)

(Realtek High Definiti) (5+6)

(Realtek High Definiti) (7+8)

Click on play and it plays 2 seconds, no sound

The driver that will continue to play is the Magic Low Latency 2016. Still no sound.

I wish Windows would stop fiddling with my Windows 10 Pro Machine

@Michael-Valdez Have you configured the inputs and outputs in your Magix Low Latency driver settings?

@Michael-Valdez

Hi,

What version of Windows do you have?

I have the same version of Samplitude as you and Windows 10 Pro 21H1.
