Hi,

See this thread.

Not all "soundpools" on Catooh are real loops in the sense that they can be used like most of the Soundpools. The loops may be multi-key, and not a series of 6 or 7 keys.

Which particular Soundpools did you buy?

Hi, they are "Road Trip Wave" and Acoustic Strings wave".

I read the thread.  Where  do I go to change the admin settings in Windows 10 like he was talking about?

Are these songs or soundpool loops? They look like songs to me in which case you cannot use the Soundpools part, you have to use the File Browser tab.

I only have W7. Normally, you right-click on the program link and one of the options in the menu is "Run as Administrator."

I suggest that you put the songs under Music or do like me a create a folder for downloaded music and create a link to it in MM's File Browser. When you get the folder in the File Browser tab, right-click on it and select Create link. That way it will always show up in the left hand column.

They are loops. Roadtrip's description reads:

Loops/Sounds of "Music Maker Jam Style" Roadtrip - 310 Files - 145 BPM - (Wave 44,1 kHz / 16 Bit / stereo) - Instruments: Acoustic Guitars, Banjo&Strings, Bass, Drums, Electric Guitars, Mallets, Nature Synth, Pianos

Maybe the "Music Maker Jam Style" has something to do with ?

Where are they located on your computer? You should copy them to a folder where all of the other Soundpools are located. Where are they?

They are all in the same folder

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools

jrs1 wrote on 6/25/2016, 9:45 AM

Found the work-around. Renamed the non-working folder to one that does work and just added the name to the end of it.

For instance, Road Trip didn't work and since Rock Pop did, I rename it Rock Pop - Road Trip_wave.  Loads up and works beautifully using the ADD+ feature.

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

Glad that you found a solution.

I think that the problem is that Road Trip (Road or Trip) has no synonym in the file StyleSynonyms.ini but Rock does. So the solution would be to add to StyleSynonyms.ini something like:

[road]
synonym001 = Road
synonym002 = Road Trip

synonym003 = Trip

If any instruments are missing, then you would have to add it to InstrumentSynonyms.ini like this:

[banjo]
color = 34, 81, 81 (use a colour scheme that you want)
synonym001 = Banjo&Strings
synonym002 = Banjo
