Additional package in Magix Travel Maps

Piotr- wrote on 11/14/2022, 11:55 AM

Hi
I downloaded 5 extra theme packs (which were free because I bought Movie Studio 2023 Suite). These are, for example, Image - Deco Elements - Maps Continent and Themepacks - Ultimate Travel Package. I can use it in MS 2023 but I thought it would be usable in Magix Travel Maps as they look like maps in that software. Is there any solution to add these maps to Magix Travel Maps. If anyone knew I would be very happy.

@Piotr-

Hi

. . . . Image - Deco Elements - Maps Continent and Themepacks - Ultimate Travel Package. . . .

The Ultimate Travel package should be available in Travel Maps under the Traveler package column on the start screen of Travel Maps.

For the Image - Deco Elements - Maps Continent package, these are not compatible with Travel Maps as they are not images.

Thanks for the quick reply and information. Unfortunately, the Ultimate Travel Package does not work in my Travel Maps - it is not available in the "Travel Package" column. Every time when I click on the map icon in this column, the MAGIX store opens. I tried to reinstall Travel Maps but no luck. I have no idea what's wrong. Maby it is possible to use these maps via the "load map" option in the third column, but I did not find the destination folder package on my computer's hard drive. By the way, on my order document (which I received after the transaction on my email)there is information: "You can download purchased Soundpools, songs and sound effects at any time here: https://www.producerplanet.com/us/account/purchases /". Unfortunately, the package I ordered is not in my account. I am afraid that if I reinstall the software in the future, this package will not be available.

Hi, I've just bought the standalone license for Movie Studio 2023 Platinum along with Travel Maps, the main reason I purchased it. When trying to access the Traveler package within Travel mpas, it should apparently redirect me to the 'Magix Store', presumably for a download. Instead the link which says 'Go to the Magix store' launches me into the Movie Studio software with no obvious means of downloading these Maps. Any advice please? How does one even access the 'Magix Store'? There appears to be nowhere apart from the forum to ask for help. Thanks for any advice.

@Sandra-Pullen Hi, it's been a long time since i installed Travel maps so until you get a better reply - In the Import tab it should show as Travel Route & Store is one of the tabs at the top,

Thank you Gid for the prompt reply. However, my screen bears no resemblance to your snapshot and I have no access to a Travel Route & Store. Thanks for trying. I will continue to research but suspect I'm expected to make do without the package.

@Sandra-Pullen Hi, can you share a picture of your screen?

Sandra, you probably have folder view on. Untick the folder tree icon and you'll get the alternate Import tab display:

All my forum comments are based on or refer to my System 1.

My struggle is over! I built my (now) system 2 in 2011 when DV was king and MPEG 2 was just coming onto the scene and I needed a more powerful system to cope. Since then we've advanced to MP4 and to bigger and bigger resolutions. I was really suffering, not so much in editing (with proxies) but in encoding, which just took ages. A video, with Neat Video noise reduction applied, would encode at 12% of film speed. My new system 1 does the same job at 160% of film speed. Marvellous. I'm keeping my old system as a capture station for analogue video tapes and DV.

Hi,

The Travel Themepacks are multipurpose, that is, they add elements to both Magix Movie Studio (MMS) and Travel Maps, including images and audio(music and sound FX). Normally, you purchase them through the Store within Movie Studio. When you do. then the pack shows up under Templates with a down arrow on in, meaning that you have to download and install it. Once done, Travel Maps has access to some of them (obviously not audio files) and they show up under the startup screen, middle column - Traveler Package or whatever you have. In mine, I have 52 Premium maps available. Other elements are available under Avatar. Open the dropdown menu.

Everything else is access in MMS for you to use them as you please.

Travel Maps can be launched from within MMS either through the top menu, Edit, Wizards, Travel Route Animation, or as shown by @Former user under the Import tab.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I've found the link eventually. As I do not need all the content of the whole package, and they will not allow me to purchase the individual maps I would like, I will stick to the standard maps available in the original software. Thanks again
