Hi when going over to burn , it stated disc full and it was approx 4474 if memory serves me correctly, so don’t know how much larger it would be unless there is a way to tell how long each slideshow is, I have tried to separate them with s/show manager, but then it comes up with encoding error, and won’t burn to DVD, I am hoping that I haven’t corrupted my slideshow so I have to start over.
The length of the slideshow is displayed in Photostory Preview window - position the cursor at the end of the projects Storyboard or Timeline view, by pressing the End key on your keyboard, and note the times - in the example below, this project is 1 min 54 secs and 20 frames - you can ignore frames value.
. . . . when going over to burn , it stated disc full and it was approx 4474 if memory serves me correctly, . . . .
That would suggest the project is more than 2 hrs long, if it is less than approx 4 hrs long you could try using Dual Layer discs - DVD+R DL, disks if your disc burner supports them.
Hi I have removed slideshows from my project to allow it to fit on dvd disc, but am receiving message, encoding error while writing project file, notepad saying on several of the errors, no import module for image file and gives related image numbers, what can I do to resolve this ?
A file with the extension .mov is a video file - download and install MediaInfo and use this to analyse the file. Post the results from the Text view in MediaInfo - you can copy and paste directly into your reply.
Please open MediaInfo and choose the .mov file as the file to be analysed, not your PS project file. Then, go to Options>Text View in the MediaInfo menu and copy ALL the data there and paste it into your next reply.
Hi I typed in .mov file in medialinfo, it brought up yellow highlighted mov files, I then selected those, but obviously I need to get help so will try a s a.p to get it to you.
Thanks for the MediaInfo information, as @emmrecs has commented that is exactly what we needed.
The initial problem that Jeff has commented on ie Quicktime - it should not be necessary to install this as the video is encoded in the standard AVC codec and the audio in the standard AAC codec.
Photostory Deluxe, assuming it is the latest version ie 20.0.1.62 - see under Help, About - should be able to use this with no issue.
Looking back at your previous posts the error messages in the log file are referring to images, I think we have may have been side tracked by the mention of MOV files.
Can you use MediaInfo to analyse one of the images that are in the folders mentioned in the log file and post the results.
