how do you Add a second or 2 to beginning of project? I'm trying to mesh a coupe things together and it'll be easier to add a couple seconds to the front. MS2023
There are three mouse mode buttons. Single object, Single Track, and All tracks in the timeline editor.
Assuming you are using the track view mode, just grab the first object in the timeline mode and move it backwards using the All tracks mouse mode. All other objects on all other tracks will move along with it.
It must be the first object as anything in front of the object selected will not be moved.
John, the easiest way is to add a still image (eg a JPEG) to the start of your movie, then adjust it's length by dragging. You can create an image in Magix by putting the Play marker on a blank spot of the timeline and doing an export: File>Export Movie>Single Frame as JPEG. When you bring that image back onto the timeline, it defualts to 7seconds long, but you can drag it to however long you want.

If you want to put some space at the start of your movie as per my suggestion using a still image, all you need to do is to set the Mouse mode for all tracks:
Then click on the very first object in your movie; all the movie objects will be highlighted. Drag the whole lot to the right a bit to make some space for your blank image, insert it, then do the same with the mouse selection to drag everything back to butt up against your inserted image.
I quite often use short black JPEGs at the start of my movies. I don't like videos that start immediately I hit Play.
