Adding a project doesn't seem to work.. or am I missing something?

If I have a project open and then try to open another project, a popup box asks if I want to close the first project or add it to the current project.  But if I select to add it, it replaces the first project instead of being added to it.

It would be nice to be able to save an animated titling track as a project that I can import and use in other projects, yet still be able to make customizations to it for each video I import it to.

Hi.

When you choose to add the new project what actually happens is your first project is minimised (on-screen) and you see only the new one.  So, the first is not actually closed; if you click on the menu option "Windows" you will see the first is still listed there.  Clicking on it will "restore" it.

If you wish to use items from the first project in your new one, simply use Edit>Copy.Paste (shortcut Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V.)

HTH.

Yes, this works, but it would be nice to be able to drop in a second project at the cursor position - so users can just add a second project at the end of the current project.

Going back - n-forth is a hassle, and it's easy to lose where you are working (zoom levels change, etc.).

Magix, please listen to the users!

Thanks!
