Does anyone know whether or not it’s possible to add any logo over a video, preferably without having to re-compress/lose quality? If not then are there any other programs out there that can achieve this?
A logo as in a watermark, i.e. something to be constantly visible throughout the video, or simply some element which is part of a title, for example so NOT always visible.

Hello Jeff,
Yes, a logo that is visible throughout the entire video. So you know like how TV channels have their little logos on the left/right side of the screen? Like that.
That is more commonly called a Watermark, I think. Hence my original question!
However, your second requirement, of no additional compression/loss of quality, i.e. no processing to insert the watermark, is impossible, IMO! Because the image of the watermark has to be written into the file, essentially the whole file has to be reprocessed.
I have, but have hardly used, one app that allows the addition of a watermark to videos, uMark Video Watermarker. As I said, my so far very limited use of it suggests it is at least acceptable. I notice that there is an option to use the Free version of the app so might be worth at least downloading it and giving it a try? However, that version is limited to text only and maximum 15 minutes playing time of the video. If you like its output, the paid-or version is only $29 and it allows the user to specify the bitrate of the output file, so going some way towards ensuring quality is kept as high as possible!

@jak.willis Hi, YT have something called Branding, their version of a watermark is this red/white subscribe image, I chose the image which can be anything but YT decides where it goes, bottom right, The yellow image of my logo appears at the end of my vids.
When I think of watermarking tho I imagine a faint image that is covering a fair bit of the image making it hard for thieves to pirate copy it, bank notes have a watermark, (British ones do)
The YT Branding Watermark is bottom right & I've written on 'Watermark' for the copyright protection .
If the logo is to be part of a new project or added to an existing project then its presence would make no difference to the compression, but added after the file is rendered would mean a re-render and another bout of compression.
