adding 3rd party vsts on MAGIX Music Maker Hip Hop Edition 6

scumgrinder-dude wrote on 2/27/2017, 9:58 PM

I have read the help and tried to follow the steps shown in there but the ADD button isn't showing up in the GUI. this is what i see: http://imgur.com/mDjKI8V

The red rectangle is where the add button is supposed to be.

The software is useless to me unless i can add more instruments.

Hi

If you want to add 3rd party VST's you need to have the full version of MMM ie a Premium edition.

Hip Hop and the other special editions have less functionality then the full program

Hi,

Did you download and install the extra content under Help, Update program/Update function, Download free synthesizer and sound packages?

Well, yeah after a while i figured out it had something to do with the version and i had to get a refund. I especifically want to work with a bunch of 3rd party vst and vstis and this version wouldn't allow that (even though the help that comes with the software states that you can). Thanks for the help anyway, much appreciated.

Almost best is MusicMaker Premium; I wouldn't consider anything less. Then it goes up into Samplitude Music Studio if you want better musical control, but not a lot of Soundpools.
