Hello. The ACID loops don't follow the Soundpool loop standard. Therefore they cannot be loaded into the Soundpool manager in Magix. You need to drag and drop the ACID audio files from your Windows Explorer into Music Maker. This will work fine.

I suspect it is the same with Tropical Heat because that are JAM loops.

Hi All

It is true, those do not load into Soundpool because Music Maker 2014 did not use them. I have ten Soundpools from Music Maker 2014 which does not load into Music Maker Plus but did before the update. I can not find CDROM so do not know the Serial Number for Music Maker 2014 thus can't obtain fresh Soundpools. I will not do System Restore I end up with nothing.

@john-Cook6201 You'll find your serial number in your user account on Magix.com. Just login with your e-mail and password and then go to 'My products' and then scroll until your Music Maker 2014 license.

Here you can redownload the installer.

You can also enter your 2014 serial number in the new version to get your old features and instruments.

If you didn't delete the old Soundpools, then they should still be on your computer. They are simply audio files and do not depend on any particular version of Music Maker.

Unless you moved them, they will be in folders under:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools

What do you see there?

What update are you talking about? Are you using MMM2014 or what?

For any Sounpools that get added manually or if a new version of MMM is installed, you have to tell MMM where the Soundpools are located by Adding them to Loops. The new program doesn't know until you tell it. In the old version there was a button, I believe, that said Add. In the latest version, under the Loops tab, click on the parameter button (gear-shaped), Add new Soundpools, and navigate to the folder shown above or wherever you have the Soundpools.

BTW, for old Soundpools, you should make a backup of them all as you will likely not be able to recover them in the event of a hard disk failure. No problem with Soundpools purchased through the Store.

Hi

Yes I found MM2014 license, but when I put the number in MMPLUS MAGIX account "this serial number has already been used by another user" Do I have to uninstall MM2014 that it's on another laptop?

@john-Cook6201

The error message you are receiving when you attempt to enter the MM2014 serial number suggests you registered it with a different email address to the one you have now. Is that correct? If so, you will need to log into your Magix Account using that old address, go to User Data and change the email address to your current one.

Then you should be able to register the new installation but if you get a message telling you you have exceeded the maximum number of installations allowed, you will need to go back to your account, go to My Products and deactivate any listed installations of MM2014 you no longer need.

Then try again to activate the new installation.
