«add» button gone on VST Instruments? How to add 3rd party VST (MX MUSIC MAKER)

JohnnyC wrote on 2/20/2016, 5:36 PM

Hi,

I'm having a hard trouble adding 3d party VST's to my MAGIX Music Maker Movie Score Edition.

It gets even worse when compare to my previous version - I had the simple MAGIC MUSIC MAKER.

On this new version I can't even find or get the «add» buton on VST Instruments... I found several users with this same problem

Help, solutions would be much apreciat it. Thank you.

J.

Hi J

. . . . On this new version . . . .

Assuming you mean Music Maker 2016 then it is located as shown below

@John EB,

Nope. There is no VST path in the program settings under Folders, and there is no button where you show it under instruments. VST's cannot be added to the Movie Score Edition, which I have; it's a dumbed-down version.
