I am trying to add a new page to a document, but for some reason the feature is greyed out. Not sure why. Did I miss something?
I am running version 19. Win 10. Intel NUC.

I see that none of the Designer Pro uses have responded to this topic.
I do not have Designer Pro, only the Web Designer part of the package, however when an option is greyed out it usually means that the program is not in the correct 'mode', eg an edit is 'still open' or is waiting for a confirmation of an action, or a popup is underneath the program window.

The only "mode" I find in the Help section is the full screen mode. I am lost. I contacted the company support now.

What is it that you're doing? Web page, photo, animation, letter, etc? Go to file, new and look at the list.
We can't see your screen, so give us some screen shots.

I am trying to create a multi-page PDF document starting with one page and then duplicate the page to change out the images.
The add new page worked before I upgraded to v19.

I cannot add a new page in this version. The whole section around the "add new page" is greyed out. And that includes "duplicate current page."

Like John Baker, I don't own or use XDP, but is it possible that the page is "locked" and so "unchangeable"?

The only lock I see is in "page size" and that is not locked. Are you aware of any other place where "lock" is in play?

Hi,
Since you're making a document, why did you create the project with "New Photo" and not a new document? The new document options are US Letter and A4 (various formats).
Using the photo type project, you cannot have separate pages - it's not a document. When you click on an object, the New page button in the Page & Layer Gallery turns on but clicking on it does nothing, because a photo project can't have pages.
In your current project, select all, open File, New and select either a US letter or an A4 document from the list. Paste. Arrange everything on the page. Adjust the page to the size that you want using the Page options (right click a blank area).
Turn on the Page & Layer Gallery. Now you can create New pages. Save as a XAR file.

That is exactly how I started. Opening the image, then added the text. It evolved from there

I use mostly photo projects and web pages, so I see both icons often.

I never looked at those icons, just the file names. Now that I know, the meaning of them, they stick out.
