Activate Sound Forge 15 Pro with SN for Sound Forge 18 Pro?

I need to install an additional Sound Forge 15 Pro computer, so I purchased a SF 18 license, believing I could use it to activate a copy of the older version, but it complains that the SN doesn't match the product. Is there any way to make this work?

@Vern-Buis No. The serial number is for version 18.

Assuming you have the perpetual license for Sound Forge15, it can be activated on two (2) PCs simultaneously.
As @SP. stated, a license for Sound Forge 18 cannot be used to activate Sound Forge 15, or visa-versa. The same applies to SF Audio Studio and SF Pro. for instance a license for SF Pro will not activate SF Audio Studio.
