Hi, I have been using aclab 2005 for a long time and it has been working well even on my Windows 10 PC but yesterday it suddenly stopped the ability to export audio.

I am running Windows version: 20H2 (OS Build 19042. 1165)

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program but it still won't allow me to export the audio. Please help!

@Ray-Davis Maybe a recent Windows 10 update broke the compatibility? You can uninstall updates by following the instructions here: https://www.tomsguide.com/how-to/how-to-uninstall-a-windows-10-update

But, even if this will work, it will only be a temporary solution because your version of ACL is ancient and you were lucky it was still running until recently.

Thanks SP. I appreciate that it is a very old program. Do you know what is available for the nearest 'like for like'. It's the ease of operation I like. Anything else similar on the market???

@Ray-Davis The current version of ACL is called Sound Forge Audio Cleaning Lab 3 https://www.magix.com/int/music/sound-forge/sound-forge-audio-cleaning-lab/ The full version comes with the elements version of iZotope RX and Ozone which are used for spectral editing and mastering. You can get the demos here https://www.izotope.com/en/products/rx.html https://www.izotope.com/en/products/ozone.html

You can get a free demo of SF ACL 3 here https://dl03.magix.net/trial_soundforgeaudiocleaninglab3_dlm_dsafjg.exe
