@AJM

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

I will say immediately that I do not own and have never used Acid Music Studio but I do use other software with MIDI capabilities. In that scenario "MIDI Merge" is a technology which merges the MIDI outputs of different keyboards/controllers etc. into one data stream.

However, from what you write, I am guessing that this is not what you are trying to do, so can you explain in rather more detail exactly what you are wanting to achieve?

Thanks Jeff. What I'm trying to do is overdub recordings on a MIDI loop, for example building a drum part piece by piece in the same MIDI track using a keyboard input.
