Acid Pro Upgrade activation and email prompt

When I try to activate, I get Error code: -24
This serial number has already been registered to another email address. Please contact MAGIX support.

I've entered the correct serial number and the only email address I had registered with MAGIX when I downloaded Acid Music Studio 11. Why is it refusing to accept the info?

Can we clarify exactly what you are upgrading?

You mention Acid Pro but also Acid Music Studio 11. Since these are two different products I'm not sure what your "upgrade" is from and to.

So, more details please.

As a general note: the error code you give means exactly what it says, the specific serial number has been previously registered to a different email address. So, where did you buy your upgrade? The message might suggest you have purchased a second-hand copy of whichever program you are trying to install and its previous owned has not deregistered it with Magix. Just to reassure you: I am not suggesting buying second-hand is illegal but it is important that the original owner does inform Magix so that the attribution of the serial number to his email address should be removed so that it can be changed to yours.

Thank you for responding but this problem is no longer an issue. I should have remembered Occam's Razor and just doubled checked what I entered for my email.

I reinstalled acid pro 10 after reformatting windows and my email is not working with my serial number that I received after purchasing it.

Same thing happened to me. Absolutely zero help from Acid support. They only sent me my serial after i had to email support mulitple times as I didnt get it after purchase, which was ridiculous. Then it says account registered to another email!!! There is no other email and the email used is the correct one! The very same one used on this very website I am posting to. Its been 3 days! Still no response, this company is a joke and completely unprofessional. When you purchase a product there should always be support behind it. There is none here. And that still doesnt even address all the latency issues with Acid Pro 10. What happened. Where is my support.
