I recently did a clean install of windows 10 and have had to reinstall the Acid pro 11 Magix software i purchased.I installed everything perfectly then got an alert that there was an update which i installed. After that it rolled back the installatiion and deleted the Acid exe from my computer. Ive tried multiple times to reinstall it and everything else ie the plugins and the rest of the bundle installs fine but the main Acid pro 11 program just keeps rolling back during the installation. and wont install.PLEASE HELP

@CJ-Berry I would guess you're missing Microsoft DotNet runtimes after reinstalling Windows.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to install older runtimes (version 3.5 and before) via the Windows Features control panel:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/install/dotnet-35-windows#enable-net-framework-35-in-control-panel

In case the installer needs version 4 you can download and install version 4.8.1 from here: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework

Thanks for the reply, yeah I uninstalled previous Microsoft DotNet runtime versions and all the bundled plugins , deleted the registry entries and reinstalled it . It’s working fine now but I’m reluctant to install the update since that’s what crashed it out last time.
