I have Acid Pro 11.0.2.22 x64 installed on a Windows 11 Lenova Yoga 9 laptop. When I start the program, the splashscreen pops up and start-up continues loading uptio the begining few seconds of the vst scan. Once it hits that point in loading the program exits. It just stops with the splashscreen gone, no error, no messages at all. No sign of it in task manager.
It just quits.
I have tried anything and everything that I can think of as well as what I can find when searching internet for answers. I have lost count of the number of times I have unistalled and reinstalled, scouring the registry each time, deleting all of the folders I could find, uninstalling every plug in, every other DAW, deleting and replacing every vst. Well, you get it. Anyway, I am ready to give up on Acid Pro. I started using it a few years after Sony released it. I have even bought the MAGIX upgrades for 8, then 10 and finally 11.
Years of devotion ripped away and nowhere to seek help except MAGIX "support"
I do not have much faith in Magix support, as I have had little luck hearing back from them in the past and more importantly, this issue.
So I hope that someone reading forums has some ideas on what to do. I hope it is something very simple and stupid even and that I am just a complete software idiot :)
Please help.....
