Acid Pro 10 won't render...box comes up and clocks move not % rendered

DON-STOUT wrote on 11/23/2020, 4:05 PM

Searched the web and forums for solutions. Uninstalled (really all the way) Re-installed.... repeat. Deleted the cache.... repeat. The issue exists regardless of the format selected for the render .wav .mp3 the dialog box pops open and the clocks run but no render. Initially, the vst load up to 75% bug was present and is now resolved. Anyone????

I thought I was the only one. I actually posted in the forum about this but no response from anyone. The only thing I do is constantly save the project as I am working because if I am rendering and this happens, I have to end Acid process as that is a crash. Re-open Acid and it will then render. Un-installing/re-installing won't help. This is a bug which Magix isn't aware of, like many other bugs that fly under their radar.

This is a bug which Magix isn't aware of

Have you reported it to Magix? If not, they will quite likely never be aware of it!

Yes, and among other things that I reported and the only reply I have in an email is "I will add this to the log" and I never heard back from them.

reported. No response. With all the Acid Pro users, we cannot be the only two that are unable to render properly.

@DON-STOUT

Hi

You should have had an auto response acknowledging you raising a support ticket, check your email spam folders.

Due to the virus situation Germany is in lock down and many people are working from home, so do not expect an immediate response.

Phone support is not available.

Nope you are not. Mine renders when it feels like it. I have to end Acid process a couple of times before it decides it will render. The only reasoning I have come up with is when you have more than 10 tracks in the arrangement. It than becomes dodgy. the GUI become unpredictable (starts seizing) and the Render will be hit or miss the first time.

So, my work around is Render in place. See if this helps, hit Ctrl+M. See if that Renders, if so, render bunch of tracks to one, when you have few left, try Rendering the traditional way.

@DON-STOUT

I understand your frustration but there really is little point in bumping this thread since these are user to user forums, not any contact for Magix Support. It would seem that at least one other user is also affected by this but until Magix Support are able to offer a solution I think there is nothing that anyone can do, sorry.

Hey Don, I just un-installed all instruments that come with AcidPro and that may have fixed the rendering problem. I mean I wasn't using any Acid VSTs to begin with as I don't use Acid for Midi at all but so far, rendering issue seems to be resolved. I won't trust it as I am not sure exactly what causes it or really what fixed it, but try it. Make sure there are no MIDI/Instruments tracks in your song, bounce them all to audio and see if that works.
