[Acid Pro 10] Plugins keep resetting themselves

James-Jones5552 wrote on 6/9/2021, 9:48 AM

Lately, whenever I build an effects chain on a track, some of my plug-ins will reset themselves when I add a new plugin to the mix. This happens with third party VSTs and stock plugins. Whenever I add a compressor to the chain, my cabinet simulator will reset entirely, and whenever I add a timing-based plugin like delay or reverb, any compressor or limiter that was already in the chain will reset entirely. Anyone know how to fix this?

@SP. Multiple google searched did not turn this thread up, thank you for linking it for me

How is this not fixed yet???? I've been using Acid Pro for 15 years and this has never been a problem. I get that fixing some things can take time but months??? The least Magix could do is make an older build available for download til an update goes live....

@Neill-Michaud Yes, that's is odd. The last update was long ago, it's possible that ACIDs development has mostly stopped.

@Neill-Michaud - I asked the community manager about both things specifically recently. They are speaking with the development team on these and a couple more points specifically. I'll report back as soon as I hear back

I had this problem, Acid 10.0.2 build 20 does not have this problem for me.
