Wanting to get a Tascam Model 12 controller but wanted to check if it will sync with ACID Pro 10 for basic control functions?? If it doesn't, what does anyone suggest for syncing up as a mixer/controller/interface?
@Hamish-Mackintosh I looked into your question and I found that the Tascam 'Supports simple DAW control (HUI/MCU protocol emulation)' However AP10 never states if it supports 'HUI/MCU protocol emulation'., one may think that the 'Generic Controller' selection should do the trick but.......? The Model12 does look like a great little tool for the price and functionality. If nothing else it will work as an audio interface. Keep in mind that AP10 will not be patched or updated anymore, it is what it is.

My original answer to your question was removed by the 'moderator' it was basically the same answer except I made a suggestion as to which DAW was better for your purpose.
