The voucher code that I was given to download the software is not working. it says the voucher code is invalid or already used. i am not sure what to do about this problem.

I suspect very few, if any, of those who post here have experience of using the Academic version of Acid, sorry.
However, the error message does say that the voucher code you have, has either been used previously, or is invalid for some other reason. So, from where did you get this code? I think you may need to ask the person who gave it to you to help resolve this problem.
One other inevitable question, I suppose: are you eligible to buy and use the Academic version?

The person that I got the code from purchased it for me and also said that he was having the same problem so I'm not sure why it is happening and how it should be resolved. and yes I am eligible for the academic version.
