ACID 8 "too old" for a support token?! Wow. Also broke beatmapping

Tried contacting actual support but was told my software is "too old for support" but I can buy a token instead hahaha.

That is just too incredible. No lie, am just going back to Acid 7. In the eight years of its use, I have at least gotten used to it's bugs and there were no updates to break basic features.

Your new update broke beatmapping for previews, thats hilarious to me.

The production I have done with ACID has landed me a management deal with one of the most powerful managers in the world, Ive been a living endorsement. Not anymore.

Not asking for help (will never EVER buy a token!), this is a conclusion. Felt acid users should know.

@--666-

I assume you bought the upgrade to ACID 8 more than 12 months ago? If so, and as I understand it, it is Magix policy to offer "free" support only to current products that have been owned by the user for 12 months or less.

The problem of the beatmapper has been raised by several other posters to this forum; I know Magix are aware and at least one other poster has posted a workaround, I believe.

Is that your only problem with the software? If so, does it really mean you cannot use version 8 at all and must, therefore, revert to using version 7? 😕

BTW, I should say I am NOT an owner/user of ACID but I can vouch for the fact that buying a support token is "well worth it" if you really want to resolve the problem(s) you are seeing with ACID 8.
