Hi

Open the projects settings - File Settings, Movie or press the E key.

You can then set the number of tracks you need, also check the Use settings as presets ... option

Only Plus and Premium versions of MX offer 99 tracks, as far as I know.

Hi,

Open the program as if you were creating a new project, go to file then settings then movie.  If you get this dialogue box change the settings to something greater than 32.

If you do not have accesss to more than 32 tracks it means your version is limited to 32 tracks so really your only alternative is to go to file then load backup project and hopefully you have a back up version from before you used more than 32 tracks or from before the file became corrupted.

Good Luck

George

I had the same problem transferring a project from Movie Edit Pro Premium 2019 to Movie Studio 2023

I eventually went in to the Movie Edit Pro Premium 2019 file>settings>Movie and changed the tracks to 16 (I probably could have used 32, the value had been set to 33) and resaved the project.

I was then able to open the project in Movie Studio 2023

@PsiCorps

This is a very old thread and really should not have been resurrected!

I accept you experienced a similar problem to the OP but I am now going to close the thread.
