When I try to record I get this message a device ID has been used that`s out of range for my system

The error message usually indicates that the sound card, or external device you are using, is not configured correctly or the drivers are missing.

Ensure that your sound card playback device is set to 24 bit 48000 kHz (Studio quality) in the Windows, Sounds settings.as shown below - in this example I am using the Realtek HDA default output.

Check that your audio drivers are up to date.
