I connect an external monitor to my laptop via HDMI. Lots of space to run SF, nice! But if I load a VST effect, such as Waves or IKMulti- instant hang. Then, kill SF and restart it. I'm trying to use only VST3.

The same file and VST combo on the built-in monitor works fine. It gets better- if SF spans both monitors _and_ the VST window extends into the built-in monitor, it miiiight work. I did not have this problem when using an iPad Pro via USB as an external monitor. Also, no problem with these plugins with Nuendo or SpectraLayers on the external monitor. Soooo..

There is no issue with DX plugins (who cares) nor with VST2.

CPU and Graphics card show only minimal load.

Clues, anybody?
