2019 Issues..

Hi all,

Since my 2017 version started to lag uncontrollably it was a factor in deciding to upgrade to a newer version.. 2019 PREMIUM.

I downloaded it and I already have lots of frustrations. I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me out;

1. MIDI Keyboard is detected in settings and selected. When I press a key, it does not do anything in the program. Pressing the on screen keyboard works but not the actual Midi Keyboard. Last night it worked after I pressed RESET but now it doesn’t even work when I do that.. It’s an acorn master key 49. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it onto my computer too.

2. Purchased VITA PREMIUM presets and the regular VITA PLUS presets dont even work either!! “COULD NOT FIND THE FILE”-YT-MXAcoustic Piano Norm XAO”

I purchased them in the store and I believe it was under INSTALL YOUR CONTENT last night but I had to go to sleep and decided I would restart the downloads today. There is nothing in Install your content.. However instruments like DNe1 and Electric Bass installed flawlessly. But again.. I can’t play them since my MIDI won’t work..

Hi,

What is the version of MMM installed - see under Help, About. The latest update is 27.0.3.33.

Did you activate the serial numbers for older versions, including Vita Premium and Plus?

You say that there is "nothing in Install your content." Make sure that you are logged it to the Store, then check.

Under the Store, gear, turn on "show purchased items." Now under the Store under Presets, do you see Plus and Premium presets? When you scroll over them, is there an icon at the upper left of each that says "Preset pack has already been acquired? Or do you see a price? Or what?

Did you turn on an Asio driver like WASAPI or Asio4All? What driver are you using under Program settings, Audio/Midi?

On the same screen, does your external keyboard show up under Input Device?

Did you turn on your external keyboard before starting MMM?

Hello! All my PRESETS have been acquired as it came with the MMM 2019 Premium I bought. I have already done everything that you said. I started MMM the same way I always did with my 2017. Except for the fact that for some reason I decided to make a new account under a different email. But everything that is not showing up should have been included in 2019 anyways.

I am using an ASIO M audio m track 2x2. Input device for MIDI is set to Masterkey 49.

Hi,

You made a new account under a different email? That is probably the cause of some of your problems. You will have to ask Magix how to sort that one out.

Regarding issue 1, I have a similar problem in which I have to swap drivers in audio settings and even toggle the default sound device in Windows to get the midi to work. And I had to change the drivers in the settings every time I changed from audio to midi or vice versa. Try pissing about with the audio playback drivers in MM audio settings.
