16 premium download only 3 soundpools?

Ok, I downloaded MM16 Premium and couldn't find the "basics" file. Reviewed all of the questions posted here and thank you digitec on 3/27 for giving us a possible location of the file. I found it, but there were only 3 soundpools: Hip Hop V11, Rockalternative V2 and TechnoTrance V12. Per the instructions it lists 10 total soundpools, so where did the other soundpools go, or how do I get them? Where are all of the new synthesizer/effects, instrument packages and demos? I'm close to asking for a credit back and just having them send me the regular version MM16, but I wanted all of the extra soundpools it comes with since it's a premium package. Please help.

(I'm running off of WindowsXP, by the way, if that helps anyone)

Ugh!

Since I don't know what you did wrong in the first place (if anything), I can't tell you what you should do next.  Since I bought the boxed version first, I've never had to deal with this issue.

However, hundreds (if not thousands) of other people have, and they've be able to work through it.

If you look at the bottom right of this webpage you will see a header called, "Similar Knowledge".  Click on the, "86 Questions & Answers" link and you will find many other answers to the same question.

There seems to be a few common denominators.

1) It seems that the uninstall does not remove ALL of the program files from your computer.  Apparently, it leaves behind either an .ini or .cfg file that interferes with any other attempts to reload the program, including activation with the code.

The first thing I would do is to uninstall any and all versions you have loaded.
Then, in Windows Explorer, do two searches of the entire C: drive for any files with these names (*musicmaker* and *music_maker*) and delete those too. (Be sure to include the asterisks.)

If you have more than one version of MMM loaded on your machine, make sure to delete the files for ONLY the one you want to reload (in this case MM-16).

Now, you should be able to do a clean load of the Premium version.

2) Before reloading anything...TURN OFF your antivirus software! (Don't forget to turn it back on when you're finished.)

3) Load ALL of the content packs  IN ORDER, from 1 thru 4.

Good luck!

Hi, after reading your problem it seems you are using download version and you did not fully installed MMM 16 Premium. How you might be thinking... In fact when we first install MMM 16 Premium download version it got three default soundpools, after installation we have to download all free items from Magix website.

As I my self have faced same problem later I learned and made a pdf file with photos so anyone can use it. I suggest why not give a try and download pdf file from this link.
http://www.magix.info/us/how-to-upgrade-mmm-16-install-mmm-16-premium.online-training.67901.html

You will also find other pdf file from me if you are sign in to Magix, in Knowledge and workshop

Hi, an un update to your problems.
If you are using XP then you are lucky it is much easier than vista of mine.

For using back up cd, I have done it therefore, thought to share with you. When you will install from download you could install extra downloadable items from menu or welcome screen.
But if you install from Back up cd it will install completely, there are some things not included in download version such as some video posting social networking and a music player etc. Even you will not see any extra downloadable message.

In case of un install some times Magix will leave behind some folders therefore, you need to delete them manually.
In Xp here is a path to Basic folder:

XP : C:\Program Files\MAGIX\Music Makerxx\Basics_xx

Note: in case after installation from Back up cd you got problems you can use  again download version.

Advice, before you do anything please also refer my pdf you might find some hints, where are synthesizer or soundpool etc.

Thank you
