16 / 5,000 Doubts about purchasing

Friends of the Magix Community

I am an old user of Sound Forge Audio Studio 10.0, I don't need a more up-to-date program, because I use it as an amateur, just to cut and increase the sound of audio.

I intend to purchase an application in the same style for videos, just to cut, join or increase the sound.

Which product do you recommend?

Thanks in advance for your help.

system: Windows 11 - 64 bits

@Devamarks Vegas is made by the same developers as Sound Forge.

Hi

In addition to Vegas Pro which is Magix's top end Video Editor, and may be overkill for what you need, there are four more video editing programs, 3 of which for which you can download trial versions:

  • Video Easy - a very basic video editor (no trial version)

  • Photostory, which, despite its name, is a competent beginner video editor with some good features and capabilities including burning DVD or Bluray discs..

  • Magix Movie Studio is a semi pro editor which has more features and capabilities than Photostory

  • Video Pro X, like Vegas Pro, is a pro editor and likely not what you require, has tools for broadcasting level production.

The choice is yours and I would suggest trying a trial version, whicih you can test for upto 30 days, though they do have some restictions usually limited video format support, advanced features and limited runtime for exports.

On purchase of one of the above, when you receive your serial number you activate the trial version with it, no need to uninstall, and this unlocks the restrictions and enables you to download the additional content and features to give you the full version.
