  I just acquired a Presonus Faderport 8 and need to configure it in Samplitude Pro X6 on Windows 10 Pro. Which mode should it be set up in? Is it enough to choose the factory preset called Presonus Faderport (native) or are additional steps required?

  @Jeff-Degler Sound Forge Audio Studio should import multiple channels fine. I think it supports up to 5 or 6 channel surround audio files. But it's not a multitrack DAW where you can layer several audio tracks on top of each other. Magix Samplitude

  @kent-williams This is only a user forum and no Magix staff is active here, so you can only get an opinion from us users. Sound Forge is basically on life support for a couple of years now because the responsible development team focuses on Vegas.
