  Multicore support. Cores vs Logical processors.
  Hello My computer has an Intel i7-6700 processor. It has 4 cores and 8 logical processors. Samplitude ProX7 defaults to 8 in the multicore support setting. I am guessing it detects what hardware I am using. Should multicore support be set to 4 or 8?

  @Steinar-Starholm If it is already installed it should be enough to do a VST path scan in the system options of Samplitude and then the effects should be found. After that add the effects to tracks or individual audio objects.

  Yes... Midi channel is 1. My controler is well recognized in the midi track and the DLS Plays and there is sound when I push notes. But when I change the midi out to UVI synth, notes are played in the midi track but nothing sorts out from the UVI

  @Greg-Carlson You could also try to uninstall Samplitude with a free tool like Revo Uninstaller which also tries to remove all leftover Samplitude registry values. Maybe it will make a difference.

  Samplitude X6/X7 - Low rendering performance
