RE: Using a RODE usb mic with Music Maker
I'm more concerned that it says ASIO4All (3&4). Surely it should ASIO4All (1&2). I don't think it a problem having this as an output. It's similar to how mine is set albeit with a different ASIO driver and indeed with John's with Magix Low

RE: Using a RODE usb mic with Music Maker
@Chris-Wilkie Hi I see from your images that you are using ASIO4All for audio playback - this should not be necessary. I use the settings indicated in the image I posted above ie the Magix Low Latency ASIO driver and can hear the other tracks while

@Ryan-Lester I'm not sure what your screenshot is intended to show, nor exactly which version of MM you are running. The latest is MM 2022 (aka version 30) but the first 64 bit release was MM 2021 (aka version 29). Please tell us exactly which one

RE: playback music full of static
This issue was solved by removing the "Magix Low Latency 2016" driver from the registry as rraud describes above. Here is a link to that thread. Seems to be an issue with new Dells. https://www.magix.info/us/forum/hiss-white-noise--1276238/

Set-up problem getting signal from external source to be recognised
I have installed Samplitude (64 bit) (2021) on a 64 bit PC running Windows 10. The soundcard is a Realtek HD Audio. I have a microphone, Roland synth and guitar plugged into a 10 channel analog mixer, outputting to the line-in socket at the rear of

@rraud That must have been spell check that changed Magix to Magic... This audio device type is called "Magix Low Latency 2016". (I'm including a screen capture I took before the regedit.) I'm not sure why it doesn't show up in your registry. I'm

Thank-you @thouston for sharing the info. To clarify "Magic Low Latency 2016", is that Magic (as in tricks) or Magix (the GmbH company) ?Out of curiosity, I do not see that reg. entry my Dell XPS, nor have I experienced the noise issue.

RE: Hiss / white noise
@Hayley-Morrison So, I went back and forth with Magix support on this issue, and we were able to fix the white noise. There is an audio driver supplied with most Magix software called "Magic Low Latency 2016". You may have seen it in Sound Forge's

I don’t believe there was an update in between it working and not working. Just one day I realized it wasn’t working. Before I would just be able to open a blank grid and place notes in but the notes won’t stay anymore. I’m using Magix music maker

@Alan-Bvid Hi Alan. Actually MEP and VPX use the Magix Low latency 2016 (V2.13) ASIO driver by default which is a version of the ASIO4All driver. As I'm using an inboard RealTek sound chip though that may make a difference. The settings can't be
