[Solved] Just Bought Music Studio X8

Wont load Half my Amp sim plugins. ML Soundlabs, JST Amp sims. My Reaper Daw Loads Everything just fine, absolute no problems. Reinstalled X8, but nothing... I get a dry signal when plugin is bypassed. Nothing when plugin is turned on.

but the largest file just would not display. @CubeAce On a UHD 3840x2160 set the preview to (Full), Full = 3840x2160 preview. Or try adding it to an 8k project, preview can then be set to half (Half = 3840x2160 preview). but set it to Quarter

@Ivor-Williams007 Ray, what do you actually want to achieve: 1/ Split the 19GB master file into two bits? This would be best done outside Magix, because Magix be re-rendering each half of your master file before you even start editing it. Not ideal.

Thanks mate. All done. No worries. BTW, changed processing from CPU to onboard video chip. It cut processing time in half. It is pity that my NVIDIA doesn’t work.

Hi @john_barr, AFAIK, it is not possible to lock channels as the default.. which would be my preference as well. As a half-ass workaround I created a keyboard shortcut to toggle it on (or off) (Edit.LockChannelSelection) .

@CubeAce Hi Ray Oops my bad, I should have been more precise in clearly stating that the Anaglyph is for previewing only, to ensure the Stereo effects is applied and adjusted correctly. I was exporting as 3D stereo SBS, full or half width, MP4 files
